If you can remember the 2009 MTV Movie Awards you may recollect the comedy segments that included movie mashups from Star Trek (Starf Leet Clown College) and the Lonely Island skit. The creative genius’ behind those segments are FatalFarm, and they recently uploaded to YouTube the leftovers that MTV decided not to air. The mashups come from the movies Star Trek, Wolverine, Batman, and Sex in the City. They are laugh-out-loud hilarious and highly enjoyable. Check it out in the video above.

Zach Selwyn in “A Gamer’s Revolution”
Remember G4’s Zach Selwyn? Well, maybe not. Still, you should check out his latest creation: “A Gamer’s Revolution.” It’s catchy, original, and a blast to watch if you’re a fan of classic video games.
“Mary’s Big Hit”
Priceless. First watch the video all the way through. After that, have fun by putting your mouse at time stamp 0:10 and keep replaying it. The sound of the ball and the immediate “Ohh!” reaction gets funnier after repeat viewings. Also, the music played during the replays at the end just adds to the hilariousness that is “Mary’s Big Hit.” Enjoy.

“Touchable Holography;” the future is coming
Researchers from the Shinoda Lab at The University of Tokyo have transformed the way holograms will be defined for years to come. Gizmodo explains what’s going on here best in layman’s terms: researchers have essentially combined motion tracking, like you see in the Wii, with holograms, like you see on CNN, with ultrasonic waves.” Just watch the video above as it explains it all visually with the truly amazing technology itself. People, the holodeck concept is moving from fiction to reality, slowly but surely.

Don’t tase me bro, times 3!
The Taser X3 has the capability to tase and stun three people simultaneously with no delay and no recharge. It uses a “revolutionary Pulse Calibration System” that allows the user to monitor the electrical output being discharged. Very cool tech! Check out the video above for a demonstration the Taser X3 in actions. The video description: “Three TASER employee volunteers were exposed to the new TASER X3 as the rest of the company watched on at TASER International Headquarters. The X3 was fired sequentially at the 3 volunteers with no reloading, no delay, and instant neuromuscular incapacitation (NMI). Employees then shared some insights about their experiences and went back to work.” Just another day at the office, I guess. Peek after the break for product images.

COMIC CON 2009
I will be attending Comic Con 2009 in San Diego, California. The Con runs from July 23 to July 26. I will attend all TV, movie, and web panels worth covering.
Check back here nightly for each day’s full coverage. Day Zero (Wednesday) is preview night; I will be watching the a pre-screening of the premiere episode of ABC’s new drama “V.” Thursday, Friday, and Saturday include panels for new shows like “FlashForward,” “Glee,” and “V” and classics such as “24,” “Lost,” and “Fringe.” That is just scratching the surface. Comic Con is the place to be for the latest in TV, movies, and yes, comics. I will try my best to cover as much of the insanity as I possibly can. Remember, this blog is an extension of my interests that I enjoy sharing with YOU. Look forward to my reporting on all the latest and exciting news at Comic Con 2009 over the next four days.
In the absence of my usual postings of flat-out hilarious videos, do yourself a favor and check out the video below. It will surely brighten your day.
