The followup to Skylar Grey’s buzz single “Dance Without You” is her official single “Invisible” and it’s out there for you to hear today. The 25-year-old singer/songwriter debuted the track this morning on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show and she explained the song like this: “[Invisible] is where I started out when I moved up to the woods and I was trying to find out who I was in the world because I felt very lost. Then I came out of that whole experience with this new found strength and I made me feel invincible, the whole theme of the album tells that story.” Grey’s debut album Invinsible is expected to drop this fall. Dig the single below.

Single: Skylar Grey – “Dance Without You”
By now you should know who Skylar Grey is. After helping Diddy-Dirty Money, Dr. Dre, Lupe Fiasco, and T.I. make hit songs, the mysterious Grey is ready to shine all on her own. Prior to dropping her official single later this month, she has released a standalone track for her fans called “Dance Without You.” She told AOL Music: “I wanted to release “Dance Without You” as a free download because everyone has been so patient waiting for my solo material. It is just a little teaser before my official single comes out later this month, and a taste of what’s on my album.”

Single: Coldplay – “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall”
Finally, something new from Coldplay. It’s been a long six months since Chris Martin and company dropped the standalone holiday single “Christmas Lights.” What’s great is that “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” is indeed the first single off the band’s upcoming fifth studio album. The yet-to-be-titled concept album is expected to release later this year. Preview the new thumping track below, and snag a copy at iTunes.

Single: 2 Be Continuum – “Perfect Is The Word”
The debut single from Kid Cudi’s rock band 2 Be Continuum is here! Cudder has been teasing the track since yesterday on Twitter. First he warned his fans, “Tomorrow, be ready.” Next he hinted, “10pm, the debut.” And after a minor delay (“Delay delay!!! Workin on some last minute fixes, sorry to leave you guys in suspense all day but i gotta make sure everything is right first. Gimme a few. Update soon!!!”), he dropped a MediaFire link into his feed and “Perfect Is The Word” was let out into the wild. The lonely stoner introduced it like this: “KiD CuDi & Dot Da Genius “Perfect Is The Word”.” Formally known as Wizard, 2 Be Continuum is the spin-off band Cudi and friend/producer Dot Da Genius formed earlier this year. The track definitely sounds like it came from the same mind that created the Man on the Moon records, but you’ll notice more guitar and less rapping. Sample the first slice of wizardry below.

The Dudes are back. In anticipation of their second studio album (the followup to the incredible Incredibad), the Dudes of the Lonely Island (Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone, and Akiva Schaffer) released wickedly hilarious SNL Digital Shorts like “Motherlover,” “Threw It On the Ground,” “I Just Had Sex,” “Shy Ronnie 2,” “The Creep,” “We’re Back,” and their most recent creation “Jack Sparrow.” You’ll find all of these tracks and more on Turtleneck and Chain, available in stores now. The guest list is insane: Justin Timberlake, Akon, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Michael Bolton, Beck, Snoop Dogg, and Santigold all make memorable appearances.
Two versions of the album exist. The standard version (iTunes) contains 19 tracks. The deluxe version (Amazon/iTunes) packs the 19 songs, adds the bonus track “Reba (Two Worlds Collide) featuring Kenan Thompson,” and nine videos. All but one of the included videos are Digital Short fare, a never-before-seen video for “We’ll Kill U.”
Oh, and there’s one more thing. Should you opt to purchase the album at a local Best Buy make sure you bring this coupon with you. With it for $15.99 you’ll get the CD/DVD package and a super cool and exclusive Lonely Island-branded t-shirt. Or you can use it to get the album itself for a low $7.99.

Music video: Death Cab for Cutie – “Home is a Fire”
The next single off Death Cab’s upcoming seventh studio album Codes and Keys is “Home is a Fire.” And with the release of it comes this voyeuristic music video directed by Shepard Fairey, the street artist most famous for these works of art. The video takes you on a journey through Los Angeles, and band bassist Nick Harmer–who helped conceptualize it–explains what it’s all about. “For me, ‘Home Is A Fire’ is about redefining familiar space,” Harmer said. “The narrator in the song seems unsettled, searching and yearning, scanning the environment for something comforting in an uncomfortable place. I knew that if the band would give me a chance to make a visual accompaniment to this song that those would be the themes and mood that I would most want to highlight and accentuate.”
Codes and Keys drops May 31.
Music video: Lady Gaga – “Judas”
Check out the latest music video from the Haus of Gaga. The religious-themed single receives an appropriately-matched video that is directed by Gaga and Laurieann Gibson. Lady Gaga as Mary Magdalene gets caught in the middle of a love triangle of sorts between Jesus Christ and Judas the traitor (portrayed by The Walking Dead‘s Norman Reedus). Beyond the controversial religious tone, the choreography is all kinds of fun. Born This Way drops May 23.
Music video: Lupe Fiasco – “Words I Never Said” (Featuring Skylar Grey)
Lupe’s controversial single now has a politically-driven music video attached to it. Check out the aggressive video above. Fight sequence included.

Single: Beastie Boys – “Make Some Noise”
The Boys are back. Their oft-delayed eighth studio album called Hot Sauce Committee Part Two finally has a release date–May 3–and this week they dropped the lead single off it. “Make Some Noise” somehow manages to instill the same amount of funk they brought to the table in the 2004 classic “Ch-Check It Out.” Rock to the beat below. And after the break you’ll find the star-studded trailer for The Beastie Boys’ upcoming new short film Fight For Your Right Revisited. Danny McBride, Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood, Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Rainn Wilson, Rashida Jones, Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, Steve Buscemi, Stanley Tucci, Susan Sarandon, Chloë Sevigny, and Will Arnett all make appearances. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and it will be made available for all to view this May.
Music video: Britney Spears – “Till The World Ends”
So what’s gonna happen when the world ends in December 2012? The sky will darken and buildings will shatter apart, skyscraper chunks falling from above. Humans will seek refuge underground in the sewers and dance till the world ends. That’s all according to the latest music video from comeback queen Britney Spears. The former Mickey Mouse Club member autotunes her way through this banging club beat, just as she did in her previous single “Hold It Against Me.” While the lyrics scribed by Ke$ha are nothing to rave about, the Dr. Luke/Max Martin/Billboard-produced track provides a mighty fine sound and will fit in just fine at both American and European clubs. My only issue with the video is that we don’t get to see Britney’s dancing talents for more than a few seconds at a time; the choreography is fun, but every time she starts to get into a groove the shot cuts away to something else going on. I found this to occur even more so in her previous vid. With that said, the Ray Kay-directed video sits above so hit play and get ready to bounce-bounce-bounce. (Can you spot the transparent multitouch DJ controller?)
Single: David Guetta – “Where Dem Girls At?” (Featuring Nicki Minaj & Flo Rida)
French electro house producer David Guetta just released the first single off his upcoming, still untitled fifth studio album due out this summer. “Where Dem Girls At?” features his “Club Can’t Handle Me” partner Flo Rida and adds rising star Nicki Minaj to the mix. The result is nothing spectacular nor surprising from Guetta, but the bouncing bass and synth-y goodness should get you moving and that’s all that matters, right? Preview the track, then download it below.
