Music video: Lady Gaga – “Bad Romance”

Some are calling Gaga’s latest video for her new single “Bad Romance” “her best yet,” and I tend to agree with these sentiments.  Though her music video for “Paparazzi” was very unique and stands out in its own way, “Bad Romance” just feels bigger and, well, better.  The costume designs, the choreography (with a nod to MJ’s “Thriller”), and the overall production design of it is flat out superb and entrancing.  Take a look for yourself and enjoy Gaga and her, erm, eccentric-ness.

Music video: Shakira “does it again;” Kid Cudi to be featured

“Did It Again” is the next single off Shakira’s forthcoming album.  If you enjoyed Shakira’s routine in “She Wolf” wait until you see how she moves in bed.  The album She Wolf releases November 27.

In much related news, newly-famed rapper Kid Cudi will be featured on the remix to “Did It Again.”  Go ahead and look forward to that.  Also, keep in mind that this track plus five others are produced by Pharrell Williams of The Neptunes.  Another track is produced by Wyclef Jean.

Rihanna’s “Rated R” cover art, track list, a music video

Rihanna’s next album titled Rated R is gaining tons of buzz as its release is soon upon us.  Rihanna plans on making a big comeback after her public battle with former boyfriend Chris Brown (who is also releasing a new album soon).  Yesterday the full track list was unveiled.  Featured artists include Young Jeezy, Slash (!), and will.i.am.  Look after the break for the full track listing.  If you preorder the album on iTunes you will instantly receive a free download of her first single “Russian Roulette,” a song written by fellow R&B artist Ne-Yo.  Today Rihanna is giving her fans a taste of what’s to come with the new music video for “Wait Your Turn.”  The album drops November 23.

Chris Brown & Rihanna are making their long overdue combacks

Graffiti, Chris Brown’s next studio album release, is set to drop December 15.  “I Can Transform Ya” is the first single.  It features Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz.  Choreography rocks.

Rihanna’s fourth studio album, Rated R, releases November 20.  “Te Amo” is an unconfirmed single off the album.

I like mostly what I hear and more what I see.  It will definitely be interesting to see how these two climb back to the top.  I have a feeling it won’t be too difficult for them.

Music video: Drake – “Forever” (Featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne, & Eminem)

There’s a reason this song made its way to the number one spot on the iTunes chart and still resides in the top ten.  It’s good.  I will point out, though, that some of the featured artists do bring it down some.  Yeezy and Weezy’s verses are weak in comparison to Eminem’s crazy good verse that follows.  It’s worth the listen for the catchy chorus, and even more so for Em’s ingenious rhyme-fest at the end.  Download “Forever” on iTunes here.
