Sunday, 10/5: Homeland (Showtime, 9pm)
Homeland returns for its fourth season sans Brody tonight at 9. Showtime is airing a special two-hour premiere to celebrate its anticipated return. This new season acts a bit like a series reset as Carrie Mathison is now working overseas with her former flame Nicholas Brody dead and out of the picture. Wednesday, 10/8: American Horror Story: Freak Show (FX, 10pm)
Ryan Murphy’s latest horror story dubbed Freak Show brings back many fan favorite actors including Naomi Grossman, who for the first time in series history will reprise her character (Pepper) from a prior season (Asylum). Hop over to YouTube to watch all of the creep-tastic teasers; there you’ll also find the brand-new stop-motion-enhanced main title sequence as well as introductions to a couple of the show’s new characters.
Sunday, 10/12: The Walking Dead (AMC, 9pm)
Rick Grimes returns with renewed vigor in the fifth season premiere of The Walking Dead. The Termites of Terminus don’t know what’s coming…once Rick & co. can figure out a way to escape that darn Train Car A.
Monday, 10/20: American Dad (TBS, 9pm)
Here’s a friendly reminder for fans of Seth MacFarlane’s other long-running animated series. American Dad makes its move from FOX to TBS on October 20th.
