We’ve already got a look at Henry Cavill as Zack Snyder’s Superman, and now Warner Bros. has unveiled the official ‘S’ shield that will serve as the logo for the upcoming reboot Man of Steel. Just like our previous look at Cavill, the shield that resides on Superman’s chest plate is dark, gritty, and detailed. Though we still don’t have a trailer to lean back on, these “first looks” at Superman and his shield most certainly point to a redefined hero that will tell a dark, stylistic tale that may be reminiscent of what Christopher Nolan is doing with the Batman franchise.
Man of Steel releases Summer 2013.
